i am so proud to be an American right now, and so proud of all those people who put their hope in Obama, as I did. I think it is a testament to the people of our nation that within 50 years, we have gone from a country who wouldn't let someone drink from a fountain or attend school based on the color of their skin, to a country where it is now proven that anyone, regardless of race, can aspire to be the leader of the greatest nation in the world.
tears stream down my face as i watch this great man thank his country for giving him their trust and hope, and as he said, put their hands on their arc of history and bend it once more for the hope of a better day.
